A Remarkable Store
The historic building from 1760, formerly the beloved Remarkable Book Shop, is one of Westport's historic ship captain's homes and original mercantile trade shops, featuring the original chestnut post and beam frame now melded with European modern architectural features such as bronze windows, doors, display counter and staircase from Italy.
The lower level welcomes you for a Scandinavian Fika, featuring a whimsical Carl Linnaeus by illustrator Tug Rice, completing a dynamic and vibrant landscape for shoppers to explore, take a pause, and become inspired.
